Orchid Science College Bharatpur organized an orientation and motivation program for its new batch of XI Science and Management students.
There were some key presenters to address the program. Joes Foster Elies, an internationally acclaimed visual artist and the executive Principal of The British College Kathmandu inspired students to learn the creativity and unlearn the negativity. Similarly, Amar Neupane, one of the most celebrated novelists in Nepal motivated students through his several life-changing stories and motivational suggestions. Meanwhile, another presenter MrKesherKhulal, a renowned speaker and the ex-principal of Buddhanilkantha School Kathmandu stressed on the importance of goal-setting and preparing for that during the high school years. He also highlighted that social media such as Facebook shouldn’t be the leisure activity of students; rather the internet should be used for the learning purposes.
In that program, the ex-Orchidians CA VimanKarki, DrDeependraPoudel, Er, Bijay Raj Neupane, entrepreneur Pratik Panta also shared their experiences of success so as to motivate the freshers.
A part from the motivation and orientation session, the event also included several musical and dancing performances. Held at Cancer Hospital Auditorium, Narayan Dahal, the ECA Head of the college conducted the program in which Valley State College’s director BaburamKhanal, Orchid’s Principal Dr. KhemAcharya extended best wishes to the students.
